Amy Lynn (Richmond) Cantrell, 52, passed away unexpectedly on January 6, 2023, at her home in Ashtabula, Ohio.
She was born on December 27, 1970, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Leonard and Loretta (Sprinkle) Richmond.
Amy graduated from Edgewood High School in 1989, then attended Kent State University where she received her bachelor’s degree and continued to further her higher education by going to Youngstown State University where she received her master’s degree.
Amy was a Licensed Counselor at Glenbeigh and took great pride in the work that she did to better the lives of so many who had already given up on themselves.
On June 27, 2017, Amy married the love of her life, Travis A. Cantrell; they shared five wonderful years of marriage together.
Amy enjoyed taking care of her children, reading, crafting and especially decorating for the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas! She coached ASA soccer, took part in the local 4-H Club and was part of the Little Rebels Club.
She is survived by her parents; her beloved husband, Travis, her loving children: Austin Clark (Alexandria), Ryan Clark (Harley Ludwick), Shay Thiel and Jacquelyn (Andrew) Showalter; her grandchildren: Brice, Ben, Blake and one on the way; her siblings: Dale (Liz) Richmond, Barb (Tim) Dwyer, Cheryl (Will) Riggleman, Susan (Adam) Ruck and Patricia (Bryan) Oliver.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard and Laura Richmond.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday January 12, 2023, from 4:00p-6:00p with a funeral service to immediately follow at 6:00p at Fleming and Billman Funeral Home, 49, W. Jefferson Street in Jefferson, Ohio.
