Thelma Lillian Ekholm

Thelma Ekholm 90 years old of Jefferson, Ohio passed away on Sunday (September 30th) at her home. Thelma was born June 8, 1928 in Hadley, Pennsylvania to Frank M. and Donna (Free) Davidson. On July 3, 1942 Thelma married Swante Albert Ekholm in Cattlesburg, Kentucky.

She retired for General Electric in Jefferson, Ohio in 1984.

Thelma is survived by three children, Kenneth Ekholm, Carol Simko and Sheila Hill; 12 Grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Swante Albert Ekholm in 2008; three brothers, Harold, Frank and John Davidson and three sisters, Edna Pears, Martha Bailey and Mary Thomas.

Funeral service will be Wednesday (October 3rd) at 11:00 AM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio with Pastor Ron Segman of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
