Tammy D. White , 55 of Ashtabula died Monday (May 14th) at the Country Club Retirement Campus after a long illness. She was born January 20, 1963 in Welch, West Virginia the daughter of Ernest and Rebecca (Hamilton) Hatfield and has lived in the Ashtabula area most of her life.
She was an STNA at Park Haven Nursing Home, Ashtabula County Nursing Home and Austinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation. Tammy also took care of many Private Duty Home patients. She also worked for ten years at Saybrook Elementary School in the cafeteria.
She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and loving her grandchildren.
Surviving her is her husband, Jeffrey S. White whom she married August 11, 1984; a son, Eric N. Hatfield of Ashtabula; two daughters, Heather R. White and Holly R. White both of Ashtabula; seven grandchildren; a sister, Tonia (Sam) Severino of Ashtabula and three brothers, Chuck Hatfield of Ashtabula, Brian Hatfield of Ashtabula and Scott Hatfield of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Kathy and Rhonda, a brother, Donald and a nephew, Sonny Hatfield.
A celebration of life will be Thursday (May 24th) from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Saybrook Township Park, 5941 Lake Road West, Saybrook Township
