Robin Renee (Hinkle) Spangler

Robin Renee Spangler, age 50, Lenox-New Lyme Rd., Jefferson, died Saturday morning at her residence following a yearlong battle with cancer.

She was born June 3, 1968 in Painesville, the daughter of the late Floyd & Joann (Bramley) Hinkle.  Robin was a graduate of Grand Valley High School.  She married Michael J. Spangler on September 28, 2010 in Jefferson.  Robin was a 22-year employee of the Jefferson Area Local Schools, filling positions of bus driver, cook and janitor.

Her interests included being with family, especially grandchildren, motorcycling, flower gardening, NASCAR and partying with friends.

Survivors include her husband, Michael, five children, Corey L. (Hayden) Reed of Norfolk, VA, Cindy M. Reed of Alliance, Samantha B. Reed of Salem, Brittany R. Spangler & Dakota J. Spangler, both of Jefferson, four grandchildren and four siblings, Veronica L. (Duane) Paulin of Hambden Twp., Charles E. “Chuckie” (Betty) Castle of Punta Gorda, FL, Scott (“Scottie” (Suzette) Hinkle of Orwell & Laura (Jerry) Pataki of Hartsgrove Twp.

A celebration gathering will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 beginning at 1:00 P. M. at the home of David & Susan Burns, 818 St. Rt. 307 East, Jefferson.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, OH  44004 or the UH Geauga Medical Center-Siedman Cancer Center, 13207 Ravenna Rd., Chardon, OH  44024.
