Robert Allen Burgoon, age 74 of S. Sycamore St., Jefferson, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at University Hospital in Cleveland.  He was born on June 29, 1943 in Ashtabula, the son of Cecil & Alda (Freede) Burgoon.

He honorably served in the United States Navy from 1961-1967.  He worked for the Ashtabula County Highway Department as a road foreman for over 30 years before retiring in 2002.  He was also the owner of A & C Glass which he operated for over 25 years.  In years pasted he enjoyed hunting and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry L. (Frazee) Burgoon,  whom he married on September 11, 1971; children, Robin L. Burgoon of Jefferson and Joseph A. (Kelli) Burgoon of Wadsworth.

He is preceded by his parents and a brother Gene Burgoon.

A private family committal service with military honors will be held at Greenlawn memory Gardens at a later date.
