Raymond Tucker, Sr.

Raymond Tucker, Sr., age 73, Austinburg Twp., died Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his home.

He was born December 4, 1945 in Somerset, KY, the son of Arnold & Lois (Bray) Tucker.  He moved to Ashtabula Co. and to Austinburg Twp.  He was married to Alice M. Salem on August 6, 1966 at St. Joseph Calasanctius Church in Jefferson.  Mr. Tucker worked at both Rockwell International in Saybrook Twp. and Hubbell Industrial Control in Madison, spending 14 years at each and retired from the Jefferson Area Local School System.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Alice, tow sons, Raymond (Rhonda) Tucker, Jr. of Jefferson & John Tucker of Greensboro, NC, grandson, Donald Tucker and his children, Marshall, Marcus, Maximus & Maliyah; granddaughter, Kristal (Jacob Morgan) Dietrich and her children, Haley, Starla & Madilyn; granddaughter, Nicholett Tucker; siblings, Faye (Cosmo) Pinelli of Venice, FL, Gertrude Muto of Geneva & Earl (Sue) Tucker of Geneva.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Roy, Arnold, Donald & Leighton.

A private celebration of life gathering will be held for Mr. Tucker.  The Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W.
