Paula Darlene (Maple) Starzynski

Paula D. Starzynski, age 64, Jefferson, died Saturday morning at UH-Geauga Medical Center after dealing with multiple medical issues for many years.

She was born March 3, 1955 in Ashtabula, the daughter of the late William & Velda (Coxson) Maple and has been a lifelong area resident.  She was a 1973 Jefferson Area High School graduate.  Paula was married to Charles E. Starzynski on December 11,1982 in Austinburg Twp.

Mrs. Starzynski was a librarian for many years with the Ashtabula Co. District Library’s, spending many of those years with the Bookmobile and then the Geneva Public Library.  She was a member of Jefferson United Methoist Church.  Her greatest enjoyments included her grandchildren, reading and her pets.

Her survivors include her husband, Charles; two children, Tammara (J. R.) Misinec and Shannon Anderson, both of Jefferson; six grandchildren, Joey, Sarah, Becca, Gretchen, Maddy & Nick and a brother, Rodger (Kathy) Maple of Dorset Twp.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 12:00 PM at the Jefferson United Methodist Church, 125 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson with the Rev. Douglas Winner of the church officiating. 

Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 AM – 12 PM at the church.  Memorial contributions to JAMBA (Jefferson Area Music Boosters Assoc.), 207 W.
