Linda B. Moody

Linda B. Moody, 83 of Ashtabula died Monday (July 8th) at her home after a long illness. She was born August 19, 1935 in Germany the daughter of Berhold and Elizabeth (Baumgart) Peltz and has lived in this area since 1968 moving here from Germany.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, traveling and going to casinos.

Surviving her is her husband, Jack Moody whom she married November 22, 1970; three sons, James J. (Lydia) Billman of Spokane, Washington, Jeffrey G. (Jenny) Moody of Layton, Utah, Daniel S. Moody of Ashtabula; a daughter, Shelley R. Carpenter of Georgia; eight grandchildren, Kyelene, Shyanne, Jackson, Hope, Scott, Chris, Adam and Katie; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and by three sisters, Ingrid, Giesela and Tradle.

Funeral service will be Thursday (July 11th) at 11:00 am at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with Pastor Daniel Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.

Calling hour will be Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave. Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
