Lillian V. Beebe, 83 of Ashtabula died Friday (Jan. 5th) at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. She was born August 28, 1934 in Ashtabula the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Demyen) Wisnyai.
She was a 1952 graduate of Ashtabula High School and been employed at the old A & P on Main Ave in Ashtabula and for Giant Eagle.
She loved playing the piano and enjoyed classical music. She had also played the organ at the Hungarian Church in the Harbor. Lillian enjoyed bowling, golfing and was an avid reader. She was the one who always organized the Wisnyai family reunion every year.
Surviving her is her husband, Richard Beebe, who she married May 14, 1955; a daughter Sandra (Craig Guzik) Beebe of Ashtabula and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Alan Paul Beebe in 1996; by three brothers, Louis, John and Alec Wisnyai and a sister, Eunice Voorhies.
Funeral service will be Friday (Jan. 12th) at 11:00 AM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with Alisa Nierzejewski Certified Celebrant officiating.
Calling hour will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Association.
