Leonard F. Goff, Sr., age 86 of Jefferson, died Monday morning at the Austinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born November 27, 1932 in Jefferson Twp., the son of Oney H. & Grace B. (French) Goff and has been an area resident all of his life. He was married to Betty G. Wright on April 20, 1957. Mr. Goff was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired truck driver from Domino’s Trucking.
His enjoyments included walking, wood working and watching the Game Show Network, especially Family Feud.
He is survived by two children, Leonard F. (Grace) Goff of Youngstown & Leanora L. (David, Sr.) Perfetto of Jefferson, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty in 2011, a son, Kevin earlier this year, brothers, Merle, Don, Cecil, Ralph & Duane Goff and sisters, Wilma Sabo, Leola Rodgers & Aline Goff.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson with the Rev. Mick Gilliam officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
