Johnnie W. “Big Country” Sawyers, Jr., age 28, Ninevah Rd., Saybrook Twp., died unexpectedly early Monday morning.

He was born December 29, 1988 in Ashtabula, the son of Johnnie W. & Kimberley A. (Osborne) Sawyers.  Johnnie spent the first six years of his life here then lived with his family in Sharon, PA and Florida before returning seven years ago.

Johnnnie enjoyed cooking, his music, art, especially drawing, the old school, Whooped up Low Rider cars and loved his daughter.

He is survived by his mother, Kimberley A. (Joe Mack) Osborne of Saybrook Twp., his daughter, Bailee Ann Sawyers with her mother in Centerton, AR, three brothers, Nicholas N. (Amber) Sawyers, Kyle T. (Mercedes Knapp) Sawyers & Matthew D. (Ashley Snyder) Sawyers, all of Ashtabula, his paternal grandfather, Dannie Sawyers, Sr. of Ashtabula, maternal grandparents, Shirley (Vince) Minello of Leroy Twp. & Tommy Osborne of Conneaut and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie W. Sawyers, Sr. and his paternal grandmother, Shirley Sawyers.
