George W. Grady, Jr., age 62, Clay Rd., Denmark Twp., died early Friday morning at the Saybrook Landing.
He was born October 1, 1956 in Warren, the son of George, Sr. & Mildred (Barnes) Grady and has been an area resident most of his life. George was married to Andrea Eiland on January 25, 1995 in Jefferson.
George was a retired machinist from Premix. He was a member of the Jefferson Community Church of God in Christ. His enjoyments included fishing, grilling, cooking, family functions and yardwork. George was also a charter captain on his boat, “Naughty Too” for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Andrea; two daughters, Deidre D. Grady of Garfield Hts. & Jasmine Johnson of Euclid; two grandsons, Hendrix Balser & Jayson Johnson; a sister, Deidre Flippen of Washington, D. C. and a brother, Gaylord Flippen of Lockport, NY. George was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Fairest Johnson and a brother, Verl Grady earlier this year.
A memorial service will be held Friday, 5/10/19 at 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with his Pastor Isaac Chappell officiating. Burial of ashes will be in Eagleville Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed.
