Eugene Edward Clemens Jr.

Eugene E. Clemens Jr., age 75, of Geneva, died Friday morning at the UH Geauga Medical Center.  He was born March 15, 1944 in Morgantown, WV, the son of Eugene E. & Mae L. (McCardle) Clemens.

He was a member of Assumption Church in Geneva. He owned and operated a taxidermy business as well as a Red Wing franchise.  He loved to hunt and fish.  He was a Cleveland sports fan, with either the Browns, Indians or Cavs on the TV depending on the season. He enjoyed playing football and basketball in high school. 

He is survived by his daughter, Kim K. Clemens of Cleveland; brothers, Paul J. (Linda) Clemens of Jefferson, Thomas P. (Colleen) Clemens of Ashtabula and David O. Clemens of Geneva.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 7:00 P. M. at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, with Father Jack MulQueen officiating.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in his honor to Ashtabula County Wildlife Conservation League, P. O. Box 186, Geneva OH 44041.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
