Dennis A. Campbell

Dennis A. Campbell, 68 of Ashtabula Township died Saturday (March 10th) at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born April 28, 1949 in Ashtabula the son of Charles and Betty (Hakkarainen) Campbell and has been a lifetime area resident.

He was a 1967 graduate of Ashtabula High School and had been employed with Ashland Chemical as a quality control chemist until his retirement.

He is a member of East Side Presbyterian Church, He enjoyed coffee with his friends every morning; golfing; puttering in his garage and maintaining his cars. He loved visiting Marcus and his family in Las Vegas, spending time with his grandchildren and watching them participate in their various activities.

Surviving him is his wife Vicki (Doolin) Campbell whom he married September 13, 1969; two sons, Aaron (Wendy) Campbell of Concord and Marcus (Jeannine) Campbell of Las Vegas; four grandchildren, Jameson, Avery, Matthew and Carly; a brother, David (Charie) Campbell of Allen, Texas; a sister, Denise (Eddie) Kirk of Ashtabula and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Wednesday (March 14th) at 7:00 PM at the East Side Presbyterian Church, 3440 Edgewood Dr. Ashtabula with Rev. Michelle Bartel officiating.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Family c/o Vicki Campbell for a charity to be decided at a later date.
