David E. Wilson, age 83, former Jefferson resident, now living in Peoria, AZ, died Monday morning at Hospice of the Valley in Peoria.
He was born October 10, 1934 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Edwin W. & Eloise R. (Jemison) Wilson. David was a graduate of Miami University and the American College of International Management. He also served in the U. S. Navy. David retired as a realtor with San Diego Real Estate.
While living in Jefferson, David was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, he served on the Henderson Memorial Library Board where he also volunteered and enjoyed music and gardening. David’s home while living in Jefferson was at the David & Clara Redmond’s homestead on N. Chestnut St.
He is survived by three children, Jemison A. Wilson in Mexico, Scott G. Wilson of San Diego, CA and Kimberly R. (Alex) Herrera of Glendale, AZ and four grandchildren, Jasper Herrera, Sevesti, Giovannni & Zoey Wilson.
His parents, his wife, Sandra in 2002 and a grandson, Nicholas Wilson in infancy preceded him in death.
Services will be held at David’s church and at his residential community in Peoria, AZ. A memorial service for David will be held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Jefferson at a date and time to be announced.
