Carolyn G. Nevison, age 67, Dorset Twp., died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born March 13, 1951 in Chardon, the daughter of Gerald & Margaret (Wright) Thompson and has resided in this area most of her life. Carolyn was married to Terry L. Nevison on February 24, 1979 in Mecca. She was a 25-year employee of Kennametal Corp.
Carolyn was a member of the former New Lyme Christian Fellowship Church and her interests included gardening, cooking, baking, crocheting and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Terry; six children, Michael Lattimer, Kelly Lattimer & Matt (Karen) Lattimer, Robert (Tammy) Nevison, Dixie (Jerry) Young & Jarod (Lisa) Nevison, 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald & David Thompson; three sisters, Judy Jacobsen, Joyce Geren & Pam Aliff and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, a brother, Dale Thompson and a sister, Cathy Czuchra preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with Pastor Steve Arsulic of Eagleville Bible Church officiating. Burial will be in Brownville Cemetery.
