Carole Campbell Obituary

Carole Louise Murkens Green Campbell, 78 of Conneaut went home to be with the angels on Tuesday (Dec. 10th). She was born July 15, 1941 in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of William P. and Isabel (Griffis) Murkens.

She retired from Trans Plastics/Bailey’s after working with a strong work ethic for 33years. She was a member of the New Apostle Church of Kingsville and a bible study group. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, going to thrift shops, yard sales and to the senior center.

She loved spending time with her family and many friends. She always had a big heart and would help anyone she came across that needed it. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by sister, Gloria Kahala of Pennsylvania, a daughter, Cynthia (Dennis) Frampton of Kingsville, a son, Fred (Betty) Green, Jr. of Jefferson, daughter, Pamela Green of Lancaster, Ohio, daughter, Christine (Brian) Potts of Conneaut Lake, Pa, son, Joseph Green of Conneaut; stepsons, James (Cindy) Campbell of Conneaut and Dean Campbell of Jefferson, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Sadie Murkens, the love of her life, her beloved husband, Richard Campbell; her first husband, Fred Green, Sr., a son, John Henry Green, brothers William and George Murkens, Donald McGahey and a sister, Margie Jones.

Per Carole’s wishes, there will be no services and cremation will be handled by the Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the New Apostle Church, 5802 Cemetery Rd. Kingsville at 2:00 pm on Saturday (Dec. 14th).
