B. Juan Hill

B. Juan Hill, 90 of Ashtabula died Wednesday (May 30th) at Brentwood Health Care Center in Northfield, Ohio. She was born December 21, 1927 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of Clyde D. and Wilma A. (Kincaid) Nippell.

She was a1945 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and the Technical Lab School in Columbus, Ohio. She had worked as a Lab Technician and Doctors Assistant in Warren, Ohio for six years and Cafeteria Manager for Buckeye Local Schools in Ashtabula for 25 years retiring in 1988.

She was a member of the East Side Presbyterian Church in Ashtabula for over 50 years; treasurer of the Women’s Association at the church for 25 years; a member of the church choir; treasurer of the El Kaddir Grottoetts for 22 years.  While her children were in school she was heavily involved in all their activities, the Buckeye Boo, Buckeye Bash, Band Boosters, basketball, baseball and minstrel shows.

Surviving her is her son, David (Kathleen) Hill of Broadview Hts, Ohio; two grandchildren, Rebecca Hill of Streetsboro, Ohio and David (Michelle) Hill of Milan, Michigan and two great grandchildren, David W. Hill and Noralee Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents; her Husband, Vernon L. Hill in January of this year; a son, Donald Clyde Hill and a sister, Dorothy Hartman.

A memorial service will be Saturday (June 9th) at 3:00 PM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with Rev. Michelle Bartel of Eastside Presbyterian Church officiating with visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Plymouth Township.
