Andrew A. Anslow, III, age 79, Jefferson, died early Tuesday morning, 6/18/19 at the Ashtabula Co. Medical Center.
He was born September 23, 1939 in Glens Falls, NY, the son of Andrew & Leona (Davis) Anslow, II and has lived in the Jefferson area most of his life, wintering in Haines City, FL with wife Sue the past 35 years. He was married to Betty Sue Riggleman on September 2, 1963 at the Dorset Baptist Church.
Andrew attended the Cherry Valley Church of the Nazarene and in Florida the Lake Pierce Baptist Church. Mr. Anslow was an active and involved individual, enjoying most activities with his wife, Sue. He was a horse enthusiast and enjoyed dancing, traveling, garage sales, auctions and most of all being with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Betty Sue; a son, Randy (Rona) Anslow of Jefferson; grandchildren, Tiffany (Ron) Barricklow, Randy (Samantha) Anslow, Bethany (Dylan Hurst) Anslow, Racheal Mills, Christina Cozen, Racheal Weiss & Heather Lang and 12 great-grandchildren, Grayson, Makenzie, Seth, Bella, Gabe, Haden, Waylon, Alondra, Alexis, Seth, Sophia & Amy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Kevin at birth and Kenneth and a great-granddaughter, Roxanne Phillips.
Andrew will always be remembered for his Cowboy Hat, Alligator Boots and his big belt buckles. The family would like to thank the 2nd floor ACMC staff for the care and support they provided that was above and beyond what was expected.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the Cherry Valley Nazarene Church, 3410 US Rt. 6, Andover, with Pastor Rich Meier as celebrant. Visitation will be 10-11 AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Doreset Cemetery. A luncheon to celebrate Andrew’s life will be held back at the church at 12:30 PM.
