She was born November 15, 1933 in Dorset Twp., the daughter of Lowell & Mary (Kalinsky) Calvert and has been an area resident all of her life. She was a graduate of Dorset High School. Survivors include her grandson whom she raised, Michael J. (Maris Humbert) Brooks of Jefferson and David Armington Moore of California, who visited her every other weekend for more than 10 years and she considered him as an adopted grandson. Alice had a huge extended circle of family and friends that were very close to her, most of whom spent time visiting her the last few weeks of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman in 2005; brother, Richard Calvert and a sister, Leona Kirby.
