Wanda L. Frisbie, age 91, Pennsylvania Ave., Ashtabula, died Sunday evening at Saybrook Landing after being admitted on Friday.

She was born April 5, 1924 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Harold R. & Olive M. (Smith) Johnson and has been an Ashtabula resident all of her life.  Wanda was married to Lester C. Frisbie on May 4, 1946 in Ashtabula.  She was a bookkeeper for 21 years for Reliance Electric and Ashtabula Credit Union, retiring in 1984.

Mrs. Frisbie was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, formerly Prospect Presbyterian Church where she joined the church in 1936.  Wanda served as an elder, was past clerk of Session and Deacon at the church.  She was also a member of Covered Bridge Chapter #591, Order of Eastern Star where she served as Rainbow Worthy Advisor for Ashtabula Assembly #18, the Grottoettes, the ACMC Women’s Auxiliary & WEGS.  Wanda served as an election poll worker for many years and enjoyed reading, playing bridge and most of all, her family.

She is survived by her husband, Les, two children, Kenneth L. (Patricia) Frisbie & Kathleen E. (David) Peterson, both of Ashtabula, five grandchildren, Jason (Heidi) Frisbie, Chris (Melissa) Peterson, Adam Peterson, Matthew Peterson & Emily (Andy) Selfe, seven great-grandchildren, Liam, Madeline, Kamryn, Jordyn, Grayson, Hannah & Layla and a half-brother, Kenneth Johnson of Medina.

Her parents, a half-sister, Shirley Nesbitt and half-brother, Carroll Johnson preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 P. M. at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1342 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, with pastors, Rev. Kevin Horrigan & Rev. David Connor officiating.  Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday from 11:00 A. M. to 12:45 P. M. at the church.  Covered Bridge Chapter OES will hold Eastern Star Services at 12:45 P.
