Thomasina J. “Tommy” Otto, age 82, St. Rt. 46 South, Lenox Twp., died Sunday morning at the Ashtabula Co. Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 24, 1934 in Ashtabula, the daughter of the late Charles A. & Caroline D. (Pallutch) White and has lived in this area all of her life. Tommy was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. She was married to Gale F. Otto, Sr. on January 31, 1954 in New Lyme Twp.
Mrs. Otto was a mail carrier in Jefferson for 11 years and was a dental assistant with Dr. Clifford Waters for 20 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene and she enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband, Gale, three children, Gale F. Otto, Jr. of Jefferson, Jeffrey L. (Laurie) Otto of Austinburg Twp. & Christine M. Kean of Jefferson, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a sister, Donna Welton of Saybrook Twp.
Memorial services will be Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 6:00 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson. Pastor Rick Havens of the Lenox Christian Fellowship Church will officiate. Mrs. Otto requested memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans, 1240 E. 9th St., Cleveland, OH 44199.
