Scott D. Niciu, 54 of Plymouth Twp. died Friday (Sept. 8th) at his home after a short illness. He was born January 13, 1963 in Rome, New York the son of Constantine and Virginia (Audas) Niciu.

He was a construction worker who loved his job and helping others. He enjoyed farming, fishing and loved being with his grandchildren.

Surviving him are his wife, Marilyn (Dietrich) Niciu   whom he married  July 1, 1988; a stepson, Donald (Briana) McAllister of Ashtabula; three grandchildren, Michaela Wheeler, James McAllister and Kameron McAllister; a step mother, Gala Niciu of Florida;  a brother, Benjamin (Benita) Niciu of Camden, New York; a sister, Velda (Tim) Cashel of Florence, New York and his best friend, Dean Corbin of Ashtabula. He was preceded in death by his parents.

At his request private services will be held.
