Ronald E. Barnett, age 65, Jones Rd., Jefferson, died unexpectedly Thursday evening in the emergency room at the Ashtabula Co. Medical Center.

He was born June 18, 1950 in Akron, the son of William & Mary (Proud) Barnett and has lived in the Jefferson area most of his life. Ron was married to Janet A. Norris on November 25, 1977 in Jefferson.

Ron is a retired employee of the Lubrizol Corp. in Painesville.  He is a member of the FOE Aerie Lodge #3881 in Jefferson.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, taking many cross country trips and cutting wood.

Survivors include his wife, Janet A. Barnett, a daughter, Heidi A. Beauvais of Jefferson, a granddaughter, Olivia Beauvais and a brother, Tom (Joni) Barnett of Ashtabula.  His parents preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life for Ron will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 4-7 P. M. at the Jefferson Eagles Club, 133 S.
