Rita C. Richards, age 64, died Saturday afternoon at her son’s residence In N. Kingsville where she has resided the past three months.  Rita lived most of her life in the Warren area.

She was born June 5, 1951 in Warren, the daughter of James & Teresa (Quilligan) McCready.  Rita was a licensed LPN and retired from the Washington Square Nursing Home in 2012.  She was of the Catholic faith.  Her love for baking was often shared with her grandchildren, whom she adored, along with her special K-9, “Savanah”.

She is survived by three children, Michael A. (Brandi) Tempesta of N. Kingsville, Marcus J. (Michele) Tempesta & Traci R. Tempesta, both of Warren, nine grandchildren, Bill, Kayla, Kandi, Lexie, Cristian, Baileigh, Josh, Dylan & Perri “Suzie”, great-granddaughter, Ashton and three brothers, Jeff (Linda) McCready, James McCready & Bill (Sandy) McCready, all of Warren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dennis & John McCready and a sister, Sarah Ruckman.
