Mary E. Wright, age 76, Ashtabula, died Friday morning at the DaVita Dialysis Center.

She was born April 7, 1940 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Joseph & Mary (Kortyka) Pirigyi and has been a resident here all of her life.  She married Yale A. Wright on December 14, 1956 in Michigan.  Mary owned Wright’s Cleaning Service for many years, retiring in 1986.

She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish-St. Joseph Church.  Her greatest enjoyment was her family.  Survivors include three children, Michael W. (Lynda) Wright of Dallas, TX, Machelle W. (Raymond) Emery and Mary W. (Brian) Encinas, both of Ashtabula, 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Yale in 2009, three sons, Mark W. in 2000, Mitchell W. in 2003 & Matthew W. in 2016 and three brothers.

Mrs. Wrights request was for immediate burial, no services of any type.  The Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors & Crematory, 526 W.
