Marilyn J. Mitchell, 85 of Kingsville, Ohio died Saturday (April 1st) at the Austinburg Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born March 1, 1932 in Conneaut, Ohio the daughter of William and Margaret (Stitt) Brunell and has been a lifetime area resident.
She was a graduate of Kingsville High School and had worked for ten years at Molded Fiber Glass.
She enjoyed going to the Ashtabula Senior Center, crocheting, fishing, collecting dolls; doing jig saw puzzles; going to casinos but most of all she enjoyed her family.
Surviving her are her two children, Karen (Steve) Lamb of Ashtabula and Bruce (Cindy) Mitchell of Conneaut; seven grandchildren, Richard, Nicholas, Steve, Laurie, Brittany, Cayla “Bug a baby” and Zachery; five great grandchildren, Jayni, Jessica, Heather, Eric, Tyler; three great-great-grandchildren, Sydney, Greenlee and Melanie; a brother, Ted Brunell of Salem Oregon and a sister, Georgene Barchanowicz of Ashtabula. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arval; a son, Brian; two brothers, Warren R. Brunell and William Brunell and a sister, Elaine Frazee.
A memorial service will be Wednesday (April 12th) at 11:00 AM at the Kingsville First Baptist Church, 6003 State Route 193 Kingsville with Rev. David Hines officiating. Burial will be in Lulu Falls Cemetery.
Calling hour will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave. Ashtabula, Ohio.
