Mabelle Anna Perry, age 87, died Monday evening at the Eagle Point Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Orwell. 

She was born November 21, 1929 in Saybrook Twp., the daughter of Fred & Florence (Bender) Gill and has resided in this area much of her life, but also lived in Cleveland, California and Lake County.  She was married to Albert Perry on November 30, 1950 in Ashtabula.

Mrs. Perry was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the VFW Post #943, she quilted baby pillows and blankets for family and friends.  Mabelle enjoyed singing and dancing, especially the polka.

Survivors include two children, Kathryn G. (Duane Hayes) Perry of Rock Creek & Jeffrey G. (Lynda Reeves) Perry of Ft. Myers, FL, five grandchildren, Louell Crowley in Virginia, Nick Norris & Christopher, both in Texas, Michael Perry in Akron & Jason Perry in Mississippi, three great-grandchildren, William, Emily & Gage Perry, a sister, Beverly G. Stasko and a sister-in-law, Joan Gill, both of Ashtabula and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert and 10 siblings.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 12:00 P. M. at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula with Alisa Nierzejewski, Certified Celebrant leading the service.  Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:30 A.
