M. Sprague Obituary

Margaret (Cook) Sprague, age 89, completed her earthly journey Saturday, February 10. 2018, at the Gardens of Western Reserve Assisted Living Residence in Streetsboro.

Born October 10, 1928 in McComb, MS, to Ivan D. & Opal (Kearby) Cook.  She lived in Austinburg Twp. from 1988-2010 having previously lived in Madison for many years. 

She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Jefferson where she was active with the Church Belle’s and the Grace Chpt. #11 OES in Geneva

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stanley (2003) and brother Alan, she leaves to cherish her memory, her five children, Kathleen, Jeannie, Heather, Jonathon (Mary Lou) & Christopher (Betty) and seven grandsons.

Graveside services will be held in Oakdale Cemetery, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. John Werner of the First Congregational United Church of Christ officiating.  The Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, Jefferson, Ashtabula & Geneva is handling arrangements and is privileged to serve the Margaret Sprague family.  In lieu of flowers contributions to the Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, OH  44004.  Condolences expressed at fleming-billman.com
