Kenneth O. Brundage, age 81, former Shomo Dr. resident in Ashtabula and a resident at the Villa on the Lake in Conneaut the past four years, died Tuesday evening at the Ashtabula Co. Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born February 22, 1935 in West Seneca, NY, the son of Loren & Lorraine (Otis) Brundage and has been a resident of this area most of his life.  Mr. Brundage was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict.  He was married to Margretta A. Vote on July 28, 1962 in W. Springfield, PA.  Mr. Brundage worked at the former Hercules Packing Corp. in Conneaut for over 25 years and retired in 2000 from the Ashtabula Co. Nursing Home.

Mr. Brundage was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parrish, St. Joseph Church and he enjoyed reading and traveling.

His survivors include his wife, Margretta A. Brundage, three children, Kenneth S. (Julie) Brundage of Erie, PA, Christopher J. (Jessica) Brundage of Ashtabula & Kathleen M. (Matthew) Shultz of Rome Twp., six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Virginia Bort & Ramona Miller, both of Conneaut.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, William Kenneth in infancy, a sister, Zora in infancy and four brothers, Leon, John, Ronald & Edmund Brundage.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 A. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson with the Rev. Fr. John Sheridan of St. Joseph Calasanctius Church officiating.  Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.  Geneva Post #6846 of the VFW will offer military honors.
