June C. Pfister  91 formerly of Geneva-on-the-Lake died Friday (July 14th) at Arbors at Fairlawn in Akron, Ohio. She was born October 18, 1925 in Joffree, PA the daughter of Walter and Marie (Cantrall) Scholleart.

She enjoyed crafts, sewing, painting and always enjoyed playing cards with her family. When she live in South Carolina she was a member of the “Red Hats” society.

Surviving her are two daughters, Cheryl A. McDonnell of Budd Lake, NJ and Jody (Robert) Stevens of Akron, Ohio; a son Craig Pfister of Akron, six grandchildren, Tammy, Scott, George, Mark, Jeremy and Jared and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Pfister in 1992; a daughter, Tammy Strichek Padlock a; a granddaughter, AmyLyn; three sisters, Elizabeth, Virginia and Thelma and a brother, William.

Funeral service will be Tuesday (July 18th) at 11:00 AM at the Geneva Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 323 South Broadway, Geneva with Deacon Richard Johnson officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Saybroook Township.
