Joseph Brett Rodebaugh, 58 of Ashtabula died Friday (July 15th) at his home. He was born April 10, 1958 in Ashtabula the son of Joseph and Glenna (Bancroft) Rodebaugh and has been a lifetime area resident.

He was a graduate of Edgewood High School in 1976 and graduated from the National School of Meat Cutting in Toledo, Ohio. He had worked as a butcher for Save-A-Lot and other grocery stores.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding and racing motorcycles. He was a heavy equipment operator and was a great carpenter.

Surviving him is his mother, Glenna Rodebaugh of Kingsville; his wife, Sandra Hayes of Ashtabula; two sons, Chase Smock a member of the US Army in Germany and Joseph Burt of Conneaut; two sisters, Julie (Daniel) Smallwood of Kingsville and Tracy (Fred) Sprague of Kingsville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Rodebaugh.

Private graveside services will be held at Lulu Falls Cemetery in Kingsville with his brother-in-law, Daniel Smallwood officiating.
