Helen M. Sanzotta, age 90, Austin Rd., Geneva, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Saybrook Landing where she has resided the past few weeks.

She was born January 18, 1927 in Cleveland, the daughter of William & Constance (Macaluso) DiVitha and has resided in this area most of her adult life.  Mrs. Sanzotta did many things during her working career.  She was a secretary, a real estate agent, she was a singer and performer in her earlier years in New York and was the “Mother Bunny” at the Palace Theatre in Cleveland.  She enjoyed painting, singing and watching Turner Classic movies.

Two nieces by marriage survive her, Nancy Stevens and Gina Sanzotta Monahan, both of Geneva.  No other immediate family survives.  Her husband, Carman “Mel” Sanzotta preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 A. M. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva with the Rev. Fr. Daniel Finnerty officiating.  Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN  38105.  The Geneva Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 323 S.
