Ed “Eddie” Hall, age 58, Jefferson, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning in the emergency room at the Ashtabula Co. Medical Center.

He was born October 14, 1958 in Warren, the son of the late Elwyn G. & Dollie M. (Smith) Hall and has been a Rock Creek and Jefferson area resident all of his life.  Ed was a graduate of Jefferson Area High School.  He began his working career with Schultz Mechanical Wire right out of high school and has been with the company, changing ownership to Spring Team in 1997, more than 40 years and was currently holding the positions of General Manager and Production Manager.

Ed was married to Laura J. Lenart on March 27, 1993 at the Jefferson United Methodist Church.  He was a member of the former Tuscan Lodge #342 F&AM, now Relief Lodge #284 F&AM, he was the Spring Manufacturers Institute Board representative for the Pittsburgh/Ohio region, and he served on an audit committee for Lakeview Federal Credit Union.  Ed enjoyed bowling, golf, making craft beers, wood crafting, and going to yard sales and flea markets and collecting memorabilia. Ed was a “natural hugger” and was a strong supporter of Toys for Tots.

Survivors include his wife, Laura, a son, Keith E. (Lindsey) Hall, two granddaughters, Addison & Lexi, three siblings, Michael W. (Janice) Hall of Crossville, TN, Nancy J. (Eric) Gill of Kingsville & Bonnie S. (George Logan) Brown of Warren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A. M. at the Jefferson United Methodist Church, 125 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson with the Rev. Daniel Bilkert officiating.  Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4-7 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W.
