Doris E. Westover

Doris E. (Bane)Westover, age 76, of Plymouth Twp., died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her home.  She was born on June 12, 1941 in Charleroi, PA, the daughter of Norman & Myrle (Campbell) Bane.

She has been a resident of Ashtabula County the majority of her life.  She attended Prospect Presbyterian Church and enjoyed cooking and baking.  She was always trying to research and try new recipes.  She loved camping and was a lifelong member of FCRV-Family Camper & RVers.  She worked for the Ashtabula City Schools for 25 years.  She was a proud cancer survivor.

She is survived by her father, Norman Bane of Ashtabula; husband, David D. Westover of Plymouth Twp. whom she was married to for 57 years; children, Laurie A. Davis of Valley View, David M. (Cynthia) Westover of Livingston, MT; brother, James (Barbara) Bane of Ashtabula; grandchildren, Joshua Westover of Hubbard, Justin Westover of Hubbard and Kathrine Davis of Valley View.

She is preceded by her mother.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 7:00 P. M. at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula.

Visitation will be held Monday at the Ashtabula home from 5:00—7:00 P. M. prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004 or to the American Cancer Society, Ohio Division, Inc.
