Loving mother, grandmother, friend and devoted Christian, Coreen D. Ferris, age 60, New St., Fairport Harbor, passed away peacefully Friday evening, July 31, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Jefferson surrounded by her family.

She was born November 24, 1954 in Lake Co., Ohio, the daughter of Gerald & Patricia (Casey) Flacke and has lived in Lake Co. most of her life, other than living several years in Ashland.

Coreen's interests included art, gardening, horses and  reading.  She was a caring, generous and loving person to all, she touched many lives.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.

She is survived by four children, Ralicia F. (Daniel Spears) Ferris & Jonathan J. Ferris, both of Fairport Harbor, Avrael K. (Tyrone) Earl of Windsor Twp. & Autumn J. (Rickey) Sandlin of Jefferson and 15 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, Norman M. Ferris on May 10, 2015, a brother, Paul Palmer and a daughter-in-law, Sarah Meadows.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 P. M. at her daughter, Autumn's home at 1287 W.
