I will never forget being 19 years old and needing an internship for Human Services at Kent State. I wanted something different. I will never forget going to Probate Court and Judge Hague saying “what does a young girl like yourself know anything about Probate, let alone want to do an internship in Probate?” I then told him what I knew, he smiled, and said, “you are in.” I had so much respect for Judge. He helped me in so many ways in my career and even hired me! I am going to miss him! I’m so sorry for your loss! Such a special special man! My Mentor! My friend! Rest In Peace.

We were blessed to become friends with Chuck for the past 15 years. Even in that relatively short time there are many fond memories. He become a mentor to me (Ken) and was a significant influence on my path as a judge, particularly through the Ohio Association of Probate Judges when we shared great and warm times with our colleagues. We will miss him.
