Carolyn E. Woodford, age 76, of Chapel Rd., Jefferson, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Geneva Medical Center.  She was born April 1, 1941 in Jennings, MD., the daughter of Homer & Gladys (Reush) Butler. 

She has been a resident of Ashtabula County since 1983. She worked for AT&T as an assistant employment manager for 42 years.  She was a member of Bulah United Methodist Church.  She also enjoyed going out to eat, playing cards and traveling.  However, family was most important. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard A. Woodford, whom she married on August 14, 1965; sisters, Judy (George) Rapody of Garrettsville, Zona (Richard) Magda of Austinburg; grandchildren, Jeffery (Tom) Woodford of Conneaut. Nicole (Dustin) Davis of Ashtabula; great grandchildren, Elijah, Kalynn & Gabriella Davis of Ashtabula.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Paul E. Woodford.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 at 7:00 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson,  with Pastor Scott Racut of Bulah United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will take place at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 P. M. prior to the service at the Jefferson funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, Cleveland OH Office, 4500 Rockside Rd., Suite 440, Independence, OH 44131.
