Betty L. Gregor, 89 of Saybrook Township died Sunday (Feb. 26th) at her home after a long illness. She was born Nov. 10, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of William and Irene (Kelly) Wilke.

She married Edward Gregor in 1946 and had lived in the Ashtabula area most of her life. She enjoyed collecting dolls, growing flowers. She loved animals and her pets but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving her are two daughters, Linda (Ken) Schmidt of Geneva and Judith (David) Nugent of Ashtabula; six grandchildren, Kelly (Tracy) Welton, Mark Nugent, Jason (Nita) Nugent, Janet (Scott) Campbell, Bruce Schmidt and Karen (Scott) Montz; fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great- granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward A. Gregor in 2008 and by her sister, Irene Wright in 1996.

Funeral service will be Wednesday (March 1st) at 1:00 PM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with Jason Nugent, her grandson, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
