Barbara A. (Shetler) Hammer, 39 of Jefferson Rd. Plymouth Twp. died unexpectly Monday Aug. 17th. She was born September 7, 1975 in Ashtabula the daughter of Robert and Marykay (Virostek) Shetler, Sr. and has been a lifetime area resident.

She was employed with American Landfill Management. She was a very loving person who  enjoyed gardening, fishing , hunting, camping, going on hikes and 4-wheeling.  She got her first deer this past hunting season. Most of all she loved her family

Surviving her is her father , Robert Shetler, Sr. of Williamsfield; her husband,  Harry Hammer whom she married February 24, 1998; three children, Kayla (Travis Waugh) Hammer of Ashtabula, Katelynn (Kyle Kirby) Hammer of Plymouth Twp. and Harry Hammer, Jr of Plymouth Twp.; a grandson, Austin Bryant, Jr.; four siblings, Robert (Michelle) Shetler, Jr. of Conneaut, Genevieve Shetler of Conneaut, Lisa (Robert) Huscroft of Kinsman and Andrew Shetler of Williamsfield and  26+ nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Saturday (Aug. 22nd) at 4:00 PM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula. The family has asked that everyone comes casually dressed.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
