Arline M. Frederick, age 79, E. Jefferson St., Jefferson, died early Monday morning at the Jefferson Healthcare Center.

She was born November 6, 1937 in Cleveland, the daughter of Frank & Marie (Faber) Talmadge and has been a resident of Ashtabula County since 1971.  Arline was a member of St. Joseph Calasanctius Church.  She was involved with the EPA, Rock Creek Clean Up efforts and local politics.

Survivors include three children, Patti M. (Butch) Elliott of Rock Creek, Sandi A. (Jerry) Whitt of Andover & Dano E. Frederick of Roaming Shores, 13 grandchildren, Heather, Amy, Morgan, Ana, Sarah, Eddie, Vincent, Kari, Jessi, Hannah, Stephen, Kaela & Stewart, 12 great-grandchildren and a brother, Ronald Talmadge of North Carolina.

Her parents, husband, G. Edward Frederick in 2006, a sister, Linda A. Goodall and brother, George F. Hirniak all preceded her in death.

A memorial mass will be held Friday at 11:00 A. M. at St. Joseph Calasanctius Church, 32 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson with the Rev. Fr.
