Amy M. Volanski, age 65, Footville-Richmond Rd., Lenox Twp., died unexpectedly early Saturday morning at her residence.

She was born January 22, 1952 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Martin & Faye (McQuay) Toukonen and has lived in this area all of her life other than spending a year in Utah.  Amy was married to Richard A. Volanski on November 6, 1976 at the Plymouth United Methodist Church.  She worked several years at the True Temper Corp. before their closing.  Amy was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

Survivors include her husband, Richard, three siblings, John Toukonen of Jefferson, Anita (William) McCloud of Stow & Mark Toukonen in South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 12:00 P. M. at the Lenox Center Cemetery with the Rev. Fr. John Sheridan of St. Joseph Calasanctius Church officiating.

Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00-11:45 A. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W.
